This weekend marks the grand finale of the Crelan 3×3 Masters 2025. Antwerp’s Groenplaats will host the final qualification tournament on Saturday and the national grand final on Sunday.
After nine successful preliminary rounds in cities across the country, Groenplaats will set the stage on July 26 and 27 for the Crelan 3×3 Masters final. For years, this tournament has been the benchmark for 3×3 basketball in Belgium. To put it in numbers: nearly 500 teams have competed, involving 1,900 players. A true basketball celebration across six courts, with entertainment and side events, all in the setting of the 3×3 World Cup (in 2022) and the upcoming 3×3 European Championship next year (September 2026).
On Saturday, teams in various categories will battle for the final spots in the national final. There are numerous youth divisions, recreational categories, and of course, the elite men’s and women’s teams. The best teams from the nine preliminary rounds will face each other on Sunday in the ultimate showdown for the title of Crelan 3×3 Masters 2025 Champions.
“For those who love spectacular 3×3 basketball, Groenplaats is once again the place to be at the end of July. On Saturday, teams will fight for those coveted final tickets, with the crowd as an extra boost. On Sunday, the ultimate showdown takes place. The capital of street basketball is more than ready to crown the new ‘Master of Masters’ in every category,” assures Antwerp’s Sports Alderman Stijn De Rooster.
Acting Mayor Ken Casier adds: “From our street courts to the Giants: Antwerp, as Flanders’ sports capital, has a genuine basketball culture. That’s why both the European and World Championships have been held here in recent years. The Crelan 3×3 matches are already a fixture, but they feel extra special this year with the upcoming European Championship in 2026.”
The Crelan 3×3 Masters tournament is organized by Golazo, Basketball Flanders, and AWBB (Association Wallonie-Bruxelles de Basketball).
